I designed and produced this for my much loved Textiles teacher at Bingley Grammar School, Pam Greenwood! I produced this for her to say a big thank you for all of the time and effort she had put into my textiles life. Without her I wouldn't be where i am today and certainly wouldnt have achieved my "A*" at GCSE and "A" at A level!!!

Textile Experiences in India

I was selected through Girlguiding North East England to be one of 10 to represent the region on a guiding international trip to India. In order to get this far I had to get through two selections at different levels.

During my visit to India I experienced many different things. I also saw a totally different way of life. One of the main aspects that interested me most was getting the chance to do some real Block Printing and Carpet Making at a factory. This was a once in a life time opportunity and although I don't think I will have the chance to do this again I would love to!!
